Cinnamon and Coconut Sugar
coconut sugar is one of my favourite sugars that i use in my cooking today, which is healthier than white sugar, depending on how much you consume.
Cinnamon sugar was one of my dad's favourite sweet spice's, which he would sprinkle on top of semolina pudding and today it's stilla a family favorite meal with my boys. I have minimised my sugar intake today and found away to keep this family sweet spice but in a healthier way by replacing white sugar with coconut sugar. must try!
Love using cinnamon
coconut sugar in my smoothie’s, on top of custard, with cereals, on fresh fruit
and of course any type of cake or dessert.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup coconut sugar
2 1/2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
METHOD:
Mix coconut sugar and cinnamon together then
place in a small jar with a airtight lid to keep in your pantry.
This spice can also be used on your toast, pancakes, Weet-bix, fresh banana, rolled in donuts, sprinkled
over sweet potato chips and also sprinkled on your popcorn. ENJOY!
Notes:
· glass
jars you can purchase from spotlight, cheaper chips, reject stores and even grocery
stores or you could just use a air tight container.
